Miguel Garralda established his residence in Málaga in 2003, and that’s when he created the brand CostadelSolDj, which also happens to be his artistic name.
Miguel is a results-driven person, who discovered music through drumming and playing percussion, at the early age of nine. His ability to learn and become familiar with different music genres has enabled him to become one of the most sought-after DJs in the wedding industry in Southern Spain.
Spanish is his mother tongue, but he speaks fluent English and some German, which has also helped him become a popular DJ among wedding planners and in Marbella, with its international atmosphere. Miguel feels just at home with Spanish speaking clients as with international ones.
During his time living in Málaga, he has done events at the Polo Club in Sotogrande, worked at Chambao (Sotogrande) and Rosé Marbella among others, but he is happiest when he can liven up the dance floor at private parties and weddings throughout the coast.
Born in 1980, Miguel Garralda moved to Germany at the age of nine. It was there where he discovered his passion for music. He soon began to take up percussion and learnt to play the drums, with a strong influence from rock bands of the early nineties. Simultaneously, he began taking the first steps to become a DJ.
In 1996, Miguel spent several months in New York, where he received influences from several styles of music, including jazz, soul, funk and electronic.
Starting in 1998, he spent five years working as a DJ in well-known pubs in Madrid, Spain. Among these, we can highlight: La Botellita de Serrano, La Botellita de Alonso Martínez, Tulúm, Bar Sánchez, La Mina, 30 y Tantos, La Loca del 12 and Viva Zapata.
In 2003 he established his residence in Málaga, and since then he has participated in multiple events taking place all around the Costa del Sol. With an ever increasing number of clients, Miguel currently lives in Marbella, and you can find him at all types of private parties, corporate events and weddings. He enjoys music and livens up all the events in which he takes part as a DJ.
